Sunday at the Sanctuary – Gardening for Wildlife

April 29 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Event is still being held despite the rain.  Sun should peek out around noon.

April showers bring May flowers! The CVH Animal Sanctuary provides much needed habitat for pollinators, spring migrants and other species which have been under threat due to habitat loss, climate change and pesticides. Learn how to support wildlife at home and have fun doing it!

Meet the Doesy Doats goat mowers with Dr. Kim, discover “plants for birds” with the Audubon Center and learn all about native plants for pollinators with Earth Tones.  Participants will also get tips on protecting bees and pollinators AND sling shot seed ball creations into the Sanctuary fields!

Games, treats and so much more!

April showers have been abundant so please wear appropriate footwear such as rain boots.

Changes due to weather will be posted on our website.
