May 20 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

BIOBLITZ is here!!!  Join a team and blitz the Sanctuary!  Whose team finds the most species?  Whose team finds the rarest species?  Whether you join Team BIRD, Team INVERTEBRATE, Team FLORA, or another team, you’ll be lead by a professional in the field to try and find as many team species as possible.  We’ll learn how to use traditional and modern ID tools to help figure out who lives in the Sanctuary, such as the free Leaf Snap tree ID app, Merlin Bird id app, and the iNaturalist app to help crowdsource any ID help we may need.  Ever wonder what something was in your own backyard?  Now, you’ll always know how to find out the answer.  Come learn, have fun, and help science and conservation with your finds!
